Things to Remember before taking an appointment

• When coming for abdominal ultrasonography, patient should preferably have full bladder.
• Pregnancy related ultrasonography will be performed only when the patient is referred by certified medical practitioner and brings a referral slip with doctor’s signature and stamp.
• Before performing USG or CT guided biopsy/ FNAC prior blood tests for bleeding profile are necessary.
• CT scan and X ray procedures are generally contraindicated for pregnant women.
• Prior medication for controlling heart rate is generally required for CT coronary angiography.
• Patients with magnetically operated implants, like cardiac pacemakers or cochlear implants, cannot be taken for MRI without prior consultation.
